Music was clearly a major factor in Ben & Sarah's wedding plan - they chose a venue with a huge outdoor stage, The Glade at Rosliston Forestry Centre, Derbyshire, and were looking to create a festival atmosphere. With three acts performing including friends, headline sets from 21st Century Riot and the groom poised for a very special guest appearance, this was set to be a wedding with brilliant live music. Pictures tell a story, and none more so than these shots from Ben & Sarah's awesome photographer, Christopher Terry.

The fabulous stage comes to life with speeches and the start of the live music; and what a beautiful outdoor setting for Ben's & Sarah's first dance

As the evening gets into full swing, 21st Century Riot take to the stage, quickly joined by Ben who is clearly in the zone, while the beautiful Sarah is circled by the happy crowd.

And now for the graceful exit, well if you can't stage dive at your own wedding, when can you!?

The final set from 21st Century Riot and this time both Ben & Sarah join them, then everyone gathers together for the group shot, and the night is sealed by a kiss - on stage - of course!

Such a fantastic wedding, thanks to Ben & Sarah it was an honour to be part of your big day, and thanks to Sarah-Jane of Last Minute Musicians for recommending us as the wedding band hire.

Ben & Sarah's review of 21st Century Riot

"21st Century Riot are an excellent band.  We hired them to headline our festival themed wedding and their brand of energetic party rock was perfect for the event. The dancefloor was packed and buzzing throughout the 2 sets they played for us, and it was easy to see why as they filled up the big stage with charisma and charm. It was a fairly large, outdoor venue with a big stage which some bands may have found a bit difficult, but 21st Century Riot clearly loved it.

We had a fairly mixed audience which included musicians and serious music fans and everyone appreciated how tight the band sounded, aided by a brilliant sound that had been created by the sound engineer that they arranged for us. The songs are generally well known indie classics which many, many bands cover, however 21st Century Riot really make them their own and have a real passion for the material which few will be able to match. They were happy for me (the groom) to get up and sing which we arranged beforehand, and when that went down well they were happy for me to do another one. They also got me and my new wife back up for the last song to do backing vocals, all of which were really fun and went down really well with the audience.

Aside from the music, Jay and the guys are really nice, friendly, professional guys. Happy to chat after the gig whilst they were cooling down, turned up on time and got on with sound checking with no fuss or problems. Communication with Helen (the band's manager) before the gig was very easy. It was arranged at quite short notice so her quick responses and flexibility were vital.

In all, 21st Century Riot were a huge factor in making our wedding the great day that it was."
